House History
Named for Charles H. Stange (1880-1936). One of the pioneers of veterinary education, Stange graduated from Iowa State in 1907. He was dean of the Division of Veterinary Medicine (now College of Veterinary Medicine) from 1909 until his death in 1936. He received international recognition as a scholar, teacher, organizer and research worker.
