House History
Named for Tecla Hutton (1887-1968). Hutton came to Iowa State as a hall director in 1944 and served continuously until she retired in 1956, serving most of the time at Roberts Hall. She was one of those people whose names go unsung in a University community but who was dedicated to helping students however she could.
