House History
A graduate of Knox College, Louise Rowe came to Ames in 1940 and served as housemother at the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity for 18 years. She was active in both University and community organizations. A Louise Huntington Rowe Memorial was established as a tribute to her contribution to the professional and cultural development of students.
