More Details Kehlenbeck House has a study room for group projects to sketch out assignments on the white board. The den has couches and chairs for you and your friends to hang out and talk about the Cyclone game, play a game of cards, or just relax. Each house’s bathroom has individual shower stalls that have a place for changing. A water bottle refill station promotes the Department of Residence’s green initiatives.

Alfred Kehlenbeck held teaching positions in many universities (Oberlin, Coe, Wisconsin, Virginia, Iowa State) before finally becoming Head of the Department of Foreign Languages at Iowa State in 1950.
