House History

Named for Henry Bergman (1886-1965). After joining the Iowa State staff in 1910, Bergman became the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine and Director of the Veterinary Research from 1943 – 1952. He received an honorary Doctor of Science degree from Iowa State in 1958. Bergman was also the Cyclones’ faculty representative.
