More Details Barker House has a den on each floor that has tables and chairs for studying, playing game or a quiet place to stretch out and relax. The bathroom has sinks in one area with fully-enclosed toilet rooms and fully-enclosed individual shower rooms that have a place for changing. A water bottle refill station promotes the Department of Residence’s green initiatives.

House History

Edith Barker served as State 4-H Club leader from 1936-1946. She is credited with incorporating the study of music, literature and art in the 4-H program of the State.
