Student Success

Students who live on campus are more likely to stay at and graduate faster from Iowa State. While they’re here, they’re less stressed about things like time management and taking care of themselves. On top of that, they’re making more social connections (aka: having more fun)!

For over 150 years, students have been immersed in the Cyclone experience by living on campus and our goal has always been to help them be welcomed, connected and successful in their journey.

Maintaining Experience by making changes

Key factors in student success are ensuring we’re operating in ways that serve students well and are fiscally responsible. Changes in occupancy, enrollment, the Ames rental market and the implications of COVID-19 mean we’re looking at operating differently for the 2021-22 academic year. These changes are outlined below.

ISU Dining Expands Offerings

ISU Dining will offer more meal plan options to current students who return to the residence halls for the 2021-22 academic year. Students can choose any current plan as well as the Silver or Bronze plan.
