Fall 2018 Move In Dates & Times

With over 11,000 students living on campus, you can't all move in on the same day!

You will be assigned a move-in date based on where you live and whether or not you're new or returning to ISU.

The dates below are when your move-in BEGINS. Come later if that's more convenient for you. Move-in continues through the first day of classes.
  • Move-In Crew will be here to help on Aug. 14 ;and 15 from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
  • Move-in won't start earlier than 8:00 am, so no need to get here early to "beat the rush".
  • New students will be mailed a color-coded parking pass for move-in on Aug. 14 and 15.
    • Didn't get your pass? Need to come a different day? No problem! We'll have plenty of passes available when you get here.

Do you ABSOLUTELY NEED to arrive before your move-in day or after the start of classes? If so, please view our information on Early / Late Arrivals.
