More Details The laundry room is located in the first floor of Freeman Hall. It has four washers and dryers, a rinse sink and vending machines. Freeman Hall features a large parlor with air conditioning and plenty of soft seating for a comfortable place to study, play the piano, enjoy a game of cards with friends or just relax.

House History

Named for Florence Busse (1885-1958). Busse came to Iowa State in 1919 as professor of domestic science. She was Head of the Food and Nutrition Department at Iowa State in 1923-24 and was acting Head of Home Management in 1934-35.
