House History
Named for Ernest Lindstrom (1891-1948). Lindstrom was a professor and head of genetics for 25 years at ISU. He also served as the Vice-Dean of the Graduate College for 12 years. He’s best-known for his work in the chromosome mapping of corn and the quantitative inheritance to tomato polyploidy.
