Student Maintenance Staff
The residence hall maintenance division employs people with majors or significant coursework in the following disciplines: construction engineering, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering – for work with:
- Construction & Renovation Projects
- Business Administration Inventory Control and Logistics
- Industrial Education & Technology For Safety Management Programs.
Employment is part-time (10-20 hours per week) during the Fall and Spring semesters, and the hours are from 6:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., 7 days a week. During the summer (middle May to middle August), students may work full time (up to 40 hours per week). The positions mainly involve assisting residence hall maintenance staff members in areas such as project management, mechanical or construction trades, stock room, and custodial.
