Spring break is from Saturday, March 15, to Sunday, March 23, 2025.

As a reminder:

  • For increased security during break, exterior doors lock at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 14, and will unlock at 7 a.m. on Monday, March 24. Students staying on campus should carry their keys & ISUCard with them at all times.
  • Don’t prop doors open or let strangers into the residence halls or apartments. Visitors must be escorted at all times. Anyone who has gained or provided illegal access to the halls/apartments during break will be subject to disciplinary and/or legal action.
  • Please make sure to leave the heat is on in the room (students should check their email for details regarding the correct setting), shut and lock the windows, and take out the trash and recycling.
  • Staff will be on call 24/7. Please call the on-duty number listed in your building. As always, call 911 for emergencies. 
  • During break, use the online service request for routine maintenance needs. If it’s an emergency maintenance need, call 515-294-3322 during business hours. If it’s after hours, call the RA on Duty.
