Summer Housing Options
Summer housing is typically available in Buchanan Hall, Frederiksen Court Apartments, and SUV Apartments. Residents trying to plan ahead can use the following table to see which areas will be open for consecutive summers. Please note: This information is subject to change.

Summer Housing Eligibility
To be eligible to live on-campus, you must be in good financial standing with ISU and be in one of the following categories:

Continuing Residents = Lived on-campus for
spring 2012 (or were on ISU-approved waiver).
- Summer 2012 enrollment is not required.

New Residents = Newly admitted ISU students or
current ISU students who lived off-campus or were not registered for spring 2012.
- Summer 2012 enrollment is required.
Additional eligibility requirements for specific neighborhoods are as follows.

Floors 1-7 are open to all eligible students. Floors 8-9 are open to all eligible graduate students and undergraduate students 21 or older. |

Frederiksen Court & University Village |
These areas are open to eligible newly admitted freshmen 19 or older, transfer students and continuing students. |
|
Schilletter Village Family Housing |
This area is open to all eligible students who are married / in a domestic partnership, or who have custody or visitation rights for children or other dependents. |
Persons who are required to register under the Iowa Sex Offender Registry Law, Iowa Code Chapter 692A, are not eligible to live in University housing.
